LJ’s Mystery Spring Preview
Wilda Williams highlights the mystery genre’s “Great Escape” in her cover story for the April 15 issue of Library Journal, looking at the resurgence of historical mysteries, the re-emergence of espionage fiction, why Scandinavian crime fiction may be cooling down (or, more likely, a saturation point is reaching on category but Stieg Larsson will still sell really well to the masses), and 10 years of Minotaur Books. Lots to chew on and yes, I still think we’re going to see more spy fiction come down the pike in the next little while.
