Barbara Franchi, RIP

Barbara Franchi, founder and publisher of Reviewing the Evidence, Antiques Roadshow regular, and a mystery community fixture on both sides of the Atlantic, died last night after a lengthy illness. She was 73. Ali Karim has a lovely tribute to Franchi – including a rather eerie picture of her with Elaine Flinn, who also passed away recently – as does Janet Rudolph. Franchi is survived by her daughters, Jill, Susan, Regina, her son-in-law Tony, her grandson Bennett and her husband Rudy.
