When the good people get a deal

I like good stories. Especially stories of people who persevere and keep writing even when things aren’t looking so good on the “getting published” part. So I’m especially pleased that Backspace founder Karen Dionne has found a home for her new novel:

Founder of the web site Backspace Karen Dionne’s FREEZING POINT –

already endorsed by Lee Child, David Morrell, Douglas Preston, Gayle

Lynds, John Case and John Lescroart – in which extremists plot to stop

an energy company from melting icebergs into drinking water – neither

realizing that the water is contaminated with an unknown, deadly

disease, to Natalee Rosenstein of Berkley, by Jeff Kleinman at Folio

Literary Management.

It took six months and a surprise phone call, but look for the book to be out as early as this fall. I can’t wait to read it.
