Eight and a half?

Which is my tongue-in-cheek way of saying that Katherine Neville has written a sequel to her bestselling debut novel, THE EIGHT – seventeen years after the book’s publication:

Katherine Neville’s long-awaited sequel to her debut novel, The Eight;

ranging from the dawn of the war of Greek Independence in 1822 to the

outbreak of the Iraq War in 2003, this novel begins when Cat Velis, the

heroine of The Eight, mysteriously vanishes, and her daughter must

follow a set of cryptic clues on a dangerous quest to discover who

murdered her father, to Mark Tavani at Ballantine, for simultaneous

publication in fall 2008 as a Random House audio book, by Simon Lipskar

at Writers House (NA).

This sounds very, very cool.
