It’s time for Harrogate
And I sure wish I could be at what the Times calls “The Hay-on-Wye of the crime world”, considering the stellar lineup of writerfolk organizer Mark Billingham has organized. And once it’s all said and done, I’ll be expecting reports from a whole assortment of people, which I’ll then link to come Monday.
The program is already underway with today devoted entirely to the craft of writing, workshops to that regard and how to get published, culminating in an opening party where the Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year is announced. Then tomorrow the panels begin in earnest, and no doubt the massive amounts of drinking will, too.
For those who are going, have an excellent time.
