I can see why he’s excited

So Jason Pinter alluded on his blog this morning that he was really excited about a trilogy he’d just closed a deal on. Based on the PM writeup I see why:

David Wellington‘s 13 BULLETS, 99 COFFINS, and ONE LAST VAMPIRE, a

mixture of “Blade” and “NYPD Blue” featuring a police officer’s violent

struggle against the deadliest vampire in history, to Jason Pinter at

Three Rivers Press, by Byrd Leavell at Waxman Literary Agency (World).

Wellington previously serialized a zombie novel online (which was later published by Thunder’s Mouth) and 13 BULLETS originally underwent the same process before being bought as a manuscript.
