Around the ‘sphere
Bullet style for the hectically challenged:
Kacey Kowars (who interviewed me several months ago for his Internet radio show) now turns his attention to Scott Wolven, whose story collection CONTROLLED BURN should be on everyone’s bookshelves.
The newest issue of Hardluck Stories is now up for perusal. Guest-edited by Iain Rowan, the theme is “City at Night” and naturally, the stories are suitably dark and gritty. Check ’em out.
Paul Guyot presents a very special writing contest — but you have less than a month to get your stories in (and win some t-shirt swag)…
Rochelle Krich talks to the Lipstick Chronicles about the writing life, how she balances Orthodox Judaism and the pressures of public appearances and touring, and way more.
Over at First Offenders, Karen Olson talks about procrastination, which might be the writer’s biggest affliction (it certainly is mine….)
And showing that he’s unafraid to tackle big themes and larger questions, Kevin Wignall talks about writing for posterity.
And finally, a very special holiday story. As well as a special series of holiday stories.
