Last call for submissions

The MWA Submissions List is probably the most important document in the crime fiction world. Well, it’s certainly one of my go-to lists, if only to remind me just how many books are published in a 12-month period of time, and to make me empathize with the poor folks who have to judge the Best Novel and Best Short Story category (and if you think the latter’s crazy this year, imagine what it’ll be like for 2007 with all those anthologies coming out every other week…)

So even though no one asked me to do it, it seemed like a good idea to send out a reminder that the last call to get books and stories in for the MWA’s consideration is tomorrow. And then, in a few months’ time, the fun can begin in terms of handicapping the Edgars.
