The BFF Boys triumph again

But this time, there are a few twists attached:

Marcus Sakey’s THE BLADE ITSELF, about a regular-guy protagonist caught up in a kidnapping scheme that just might cost him everything he holds dear, to Ben Sevier at Minotaur, at auction, in a very good deal, by Scott Miller at Trident Media Group.

I’m really pleased to see this deal go down, as I had the chance to meet Sakey at the Backspace Writers Conference in June and the buzz was already building back then for this book. And evidently the bidding was so spirited that Sevier actually increased his own bid — even though he’d made the highest one up till that point!

Huge congratulations. This is one book I’m looking forward to reading soon, and if you’re a publisher in the UK, you might want to pay attention to this one.
