I’m not sure what’s so shocking about this

But then, maybe it’s just me:

Anonymous’s ACADEMY X, told from the perspective of a hapless high-school English teacher, a comic novel about the world of New York’s elite private high schools and what parents and students will do to gain admission to an Ivy League college, to Gillian Blake at Bloomsbury, in a very nice deal, by Judith Riven at Judith Riven Literary Agent (world).

So, why does this have to be anonymous? Isn’t it just the teacher’s POV of these books? Or the exact reverse of something written more than 40 years ago (which is, I might add, one of the best satires of an education system I’ve ever read?)
