Former Baywatch star David Hasselhoff has been named
international star of the year at the Bollywood movie awards in
Atlantic City in the US.

He received the award because his shows, including Knight Rider, are among the most popular on Indian TV.

Hasselhoff has also enjoyed success as a singer, particularly in Germany where he continues to tour extensively.

Yash Chopra won best director for Veer-Zaara, which won best film and best actor for Shah Rukh Khan.

“Whether it’s comedy or romance or action, film should touch your heart,” said Chopra when accepting his award  on Saturday.

Yeah…that’s what KNIGHT RIDER and BAYWATCH did. Touch people’s hearts. Right.
