Two Irish guys, a tour and a bookshop
Whenever John Connolly has a book out — lately it’s been every year, though that may eventually change — he embarks on what many folks (himself included) dub the Neverending Tour. With the recent release of his latest Charlie Parker novel, THE BLACK ANGEL, he’s begun the process anew. Last week the tour took him to Belfast where, with fellow crime writer (and delightfully strange individual) Colin Bateman, he fielded questions and queries from a packed crowd at No Alibis Bookshop.
The event phots are now available at the bookshop’s site, and you can hear Bateman read his newest short story and Connolly divulge what he’s working on next: a standalone novel called THE BOOK OF LOST THINGS (which is not to be confused with the Cemetery of Forgotten Books.)
