Steven Torres, author of the Precinct Puerto Rico series of crime novels,  continues his series of interviews by catching up with yours truly. Torres asked excellent questions and I gave some incredibly long-winded answers. I talk about my reading habits and at what point I give up on a book, why the whole forensic science thing didn’t quite work out the way I wanted to, and what’s the most important aspect of any piece of writing — voice.
