The view from the highlands

The latest issue of Crime Scene Scotland, the brainchild of Russel MacLean (whose stories can be found at times in AHMM) is now up and running. It has yet more of the Cabana Boy quotient as Ray Banks’ THE BIG BLIND is not only reviewed to epic raves, but the author contributes an essay about the inspiration (and frustration) behind the novel.  Meanwhile, Al Guthrie gets plenty of ink as his upcoming novel KISS HER GOODBYE is reviewed and he answers many choice questions about his career path, what he’s working on next and what’s on his mind at the moment.  The fictive side’s covered by Ed Lynskey and Neal Marks, and there’s lots more, too.

Check it out. And dig it.
