Rickards, ranting
Granted, it is what he does best, but John Rickards really lets one loose about some of the things he simply doesn’t get: Black & White films, Tom Waits, and the classics. I was going to write up a whole long response to it but I keep thinking I’m going to repeat myself again or rehash some stuff so instead, I’ll leave the comment box open (provided Typepad has stopped PMSing) and implore you to leave suggestions as to what black and white films and fast-paced classic literature would appeal to an MTV-generation-reared crime writer.*
*Especially one whose TBR pile and DVD collection is, by his own admission, hopelessly out of control. But why should he suffer less than the rest of us?
