A cross-dressing Orthodox Jew pleaded not guilty yesterday to killing an elderly Brooklyn rabbi.

Howard Goldstein was arrested last month at the victim’s apartment wearing pink pumps, blue eye shadow and red lipstick.

He is suspected of using a baseball bat to kill 75-year-old Rabbi
Rahamin Sultan, and then living with the man’s decomposing body for
five days.

Mr. Goldstein may face a 26 year to life sentence, but his lawyer hopes to declare him insane. This story is, as people often say, developing.
