I’ll be away for the rest of this week, doing the usual mix of socializing, drinking, and even the occasional bit of business. Also, this Thursday, November 18th, I’ll be participating in the Women’s National Book Association’s panel on literary blogging (full info after the jump). While I’m gone, I’ve recruited another guest-blogger to fill the void, at least for a couple of days. So tomorrow and Thursday, you’ll be entertained by Bryon Quertermous, the author of the not-quite-published novel and CWA Debut Dagger finalist  LUNCHBOX HERO  and the owner of a rather skewed sense of humor. To say the least. After meeting him, I’ll never view goats, weasels and Angela Lansbury in quite the same way ever again.

So enjoy his smartassery (is that even a word?) and I’ll check in on the backblogs when I can. Otherwise, see you next week.
