The SMP/PWA contest winner is…
It all started when I got an email asking if I knew who’d won. Because, curiously, I hadn’t heard this at Bouchercon, where the news was supposed to break during the Shamus Awards. But a quick email to PWA head Robert Randisi confirmed the news: the 2004 winner of the St. Martin’s Press/Private Eye Writers of America contest for Best unpublished PI novel is Michael Kronenwetter.
To say that Kronenwetter’s publishing CV is extensive is to understate things. Frankly, I lost count how many projects he’s been involved on the non-fiction front. So congratulations to this publishing veteran, and I look forward to the publication of FIRST KILL.
