The Mystery Bookstore puts on a wild party

Couldn’t be at Bouchercon? Well, if you were at the LA-based Mystery Bookstore over the weekend, like Aldo Calcagno was, you experienced the next best thing–a slew of authors crowded into one major independent shop to sign books, schmooze with fans (and each other) and generally have a good time of it. Aldo took pics of practically every writer in attendance, including S.J. Rozan (whose entrance was evidently greeted with a nice bit of buzz), Edward Wright, Lee Goldberg, Bill Fitzhugh, Thomas Perry (when oh when will he have a new book out?) and many others, including Ray Bradbury with his daughter. Now, I dunno about you, but after seeing that picture, I now have this song in my head…
