Bouchercon panel schedule
The full list is now up. Once again, we’re tearing our hair out at all the conflicts, but what’s great is that there are only four tracks, plus the new “20 on the 20” feature which lets authors have their own spotlight. Should be very cool. There’s lots and lots that we’re looking forward to, including “Cliches we never want to hear again” starring Mark Billingham, Laura Lippman, Karin Slaughter, and Ian Rankin (with Peter Guttridge attempting to moderate this merry band of kids), the Peter Robinson interview (by some Scottish guy I’ve never heard of), the noir panel with Jason Starr, Ken Bruen, Simon Kernick, Duane Swierczynski and Barry Eisler, and figuring out if the Michael Collins who has a “20 on the 20” feature about being a literary writer in search of genre is, in fact, the Irish-born, Portland-dwelling Michael Collins whose work I adore so much and want everyone to read.
Oh, and the drinking. But of course.
