The body hasn’t even been found, let alone gotten cold

Demonstrating further evidence of the quickie nature of the true crime industry, this news just came over the transom:

Steven Long’s untitled true crime account of Lori Hacking’s murder, allegedly at the hands of her husband Mark Hacking, who was just arrested and charged with the crime, to Charles Spicer at St. Martin’s, by Jane Dystel at Dystel & Goderich (NA).

I am assuming that a full proposal has yet to be written, but even so. Has it even been 24 hours since the husband was arrested? Wow.
