And we’re back

First, a big round of applause to M.J. Rose–it’s not often that someone can be seen in several places at once, but she managed it expertly thanks to the efforts of the Virtual Book Tour. And I was glad to see faces old and new piping up in the comments. If you’re one of the newcomers, welcome, and hope you’ll stick around a time or two.

Yesterday’s extravaganza segues rather well into my next topic. Like many others in the lit ‘sphere, I’m going to be less–a lot less–prolific next month, in keeping with (as MobyLives once said) the publishing holiday known as August. But I’d also like to recruit some potential guest bloggers to step in every so often. So if you are an author (or editor, or agent, or someone tangentially related to the biz) who has never blogged before but might want to give it a shot for a day or two or three, [drop me a line][4] and we’ll see what we can come up with. Besides, Olen and Kevin did an amazing job…so can you.
