The Albatross is loosened

Apologies for the lack of updates this morning. However, some serious business had to be addressed this morning, with success: yes folks, after months, nay, years of frustration, I am a fully licensed driver.

I had an inkling something was in the works when the examiner I had the last time around (who was very nice afterwards, too) got into the passenger’s seat, checked for the usual things, then looked at me and said, “Fourth times’s a charm, Sarah.”

I smiled, took a deep breath, and ventured forth.

It also helped that I was only asked to parallel park (no 3-point turn, no backing into a parking spot)–with cars oncoming from both directions, I might add.

Anyway, more lit-related stuff this afternoon. Soon as I wipe this silly grin off my face.
