Audio interview festivities

I’m always looking to find in-depth interviews with authors because those are the ones I like best: they go deep into the craft of writing, into topics that most people don’t bother with because it might mean they’d have to read the book in question (or worse, the author’s backlist) and generally are more entertaining than the usual boilerplate Q&A. So that’s why I was quite impressed with what Columbus-based Kacey Kowars is doing on his eponymous website, hosting author interviews with the likes of Thomas Cook, Ian Rankin, Otto Penzler and Nelson DeMille since the site’s launch in July 2004.

The latest one is with George Pelecanos, and they talk about the new novel (DRAMA CITY) as well as lots more. Check it out.
